Chilled foods are best if eaten within 4 days but can be frozen.  To maintain quality, it is recommended to consume Frozen items within 3 months.

Overall, we recommend using an oven to heat our foods.  Items packaged in our black boxes need to have the lid removed before baking.  The black box is oven safe; the lid is not.

Place your food in 350oF oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165oF.  Foods will heat more evenly and quickly if spread out.

If using a Microwave, place food in a microwave safe container loosely covered with microwave-safe wrap.  Heat item on high for approximately 3 minutes.  Check the temperature and continue heating 1-3 minutes more, if necessary, to the internal temperature of 165oF.

Meat by the pound:

We recommend you heat your meat(s) by the pound in a 350oF oven for approximately 10 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165oF.  Adding some butter to the meat(s) will help maintain moisture.  Allowing the meat to thaw while the oven pre-heats will decrease the amount of heating required.  If heating multiple pounds, spread out meat in the pan and allow for longer time in the oven.

Whole meats:

Turkey:

Remove turkey from refrigerator while the oven pre-heats to 350oF.  Keep in the oven safe bag, place in the oven for approximately 35-45 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165oF. Allow the turkey to rest outside of the oven for 10 minutes before carving.

Brisket/Pork:

Sous Vide (in a bag): Remove bag from refrigerator and place it in an aluminum foil pan filled halfway with water.  Place the pan in a 200oF oven.  Rotate the meat after 30 minutes and heat for an additional 30 minutes.  The meat will be ready when it is tender to the touch.  Be mindful not to pierce the bag while heating.

Pan of Sides:

Mac ‘n Cheese:

Bake at 350oF degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Corn Pudding:

Bake at 350oF for 20 minutes.

Gravy/Soups:

Using a stove is recommended for heating these items. Pour the gravy or soup into a pot and heat on medium until it reaches a temperature of 165oF.

Bread Rolls:

Remove rolls from packing and place on an oven safe tray.  Bake at pre-heated 350oF for 2-3 minutes until warm.
